At the recently concluded Chevron Nigeria Contractors Line Management HES Forum held in Lagos, RusselSmith Nigeria was among the select contractors who were opportune to present various topics on Health, Environment and Safety.
The forum which was themed “Finishing well in 2017”, focused on Safety and Operational Excellence as drawn from individual company practices and provided the opportunity for participants to share best safety practices as well as possible improvement strategies.
At the event, RusselSmith Nigeria gave a presentation themed “Promoting a Culture of Excellence through Safety: The RusselSmith Way”, which was well received by attendees. According to the Senior Executive Vice President of RusselSmith, Kayode Adeleke, he noted that “at RusselSmith, achievement of safety and operational excellence is a team effort involving the collaborative effort of office, onshore and offshore workers which has led to the achievement of over three million five hundred thousand man-hours and zero Lost Time Incident in over 12 years of RusselSmith business operation.”
The presentation covered RusselSmith’s programs on Health, Safety and the Environment. This included the Junior Safety Rangers Program, a CSR initiative focused on training young students on being safety conscious both at school and at home.
