RusselSmith Bags WSO-NG BEDC OSH Merit Award

At the recently-concluded World Safety Organization (WSO) Nigeria National Conference and Awards on Health, Safety, Security, and Environment. RusselSmith, an ISO 9001:2015 certified integrated oilfield services provider, received the WSO-NG BEDC OSH Merit Award. The Award is designed to recognize companies or corporations with an excellent safety program and safety record, with programs on off-the-job safety and environmental programs.

At the award ceremony which took place at LoveWorld Convocation Arena Annex in Lagos, on October 24th, 2018. WSO Nigeria lauded RusselSmith for contributing to the protection of people, property, resources, and the environment through innovative programs, and for showing concern for the well-being of its employees and local community.

RusselSmith Achieves 4 Million Man Hours of Operation with Zero LTIs

RusselSmith Nigeria Sets Pace with Introduction of Eddyfi Lyft Pulsed Eddy Current Technology

As a leading indigenous Integrated Oilfield Service Company, RusselSmith Nigeria has achieved a milestone with the introduction of Eddyfi Lyft, a Pulsed Eddy Current Testing method used to test for Corrosion under Insulation (CUI).

The new Eddyfi Lyft PEC technology features includes real time C-scan imaging, fast acquisition of data with grid charting and dynamic scanning modes in addition to flexibility with long cables and the use of an extension pole. The technology also presents advantages in time management and cost efficiency.

Unlike other existing solutions, Lyft is designed to perform fast dynamic scans, giving it an edge in testing for corrosion under insulation (CUI). Pulsed Eddy Current Testing is one of the few Non Destructive Testing (NDT) methods that uses electromagnetic induction as the basis to detect discontinuity in conducting materials.

RusselSmith Successfully Completes Erha Mooring Topsides/In-Air Chain Inspections

RusselSmith, an Integrated Oilfield Services provider, recently achieved the completion of full visual inspection work on Exxon Mobil’s Erha FPSO. The Erha mooring topsides/in-air chains inspections scope was completed with a total of 1,572 man-hours with zero LTI. The success of this project is evidence to the company’s commitment to excellence and maintaining high safety standards in delivering world-class service quality.

RUSSELSMITH BAGS HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND SAFETY AWARD FROM CHEVRON NIGERIA LIMITED

At the recently concluded Chevron Contractor Line Management HES Forum, RusselSmith Group, a leading Integrated Oilfield Services company, received a recognition certificate in acknowledgment of projects concluded without Recordable Incidents over a one year period (January 2016 to December 2016) for the Nigeria/Mid Africa Strategic Business Unit of Chevron Nigeria Limited.

At the presentation of the certificate which took place at Oakwood Hotel, Lekki on February 16th, 2017, Chevron Nigeria Limited lauded RusselSmith for quality and safety-focused service delivery on projects executed within the period. The event also saw other contractors being recognized for excellent service delivery.

RusselSmith Group Completes Turnaround Maintenance on Chevron’s Agbami FPSO

Integrated Oilfield Services provider, RusselSmith Group Nigeria, announced the recent completion of its Turnaround Maintenance (TAM) work on Chevron’s Agbami FPSO. Services provided on the project include rope access, inspection and maintenance.

The TAM project saw the successful mobilization and demobilization of 53 engineers and was completed within two months with a hundred percent safety record and no Incident.
