RusselSmith Nigeria, a leading integrated Oilfield Services Company, recently completed its International Standards Organization (ISO) transition process and achieved the highly-coveted ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification, following audits by international and local certification bodies, Bureau Veritas and the Standards Organization of Nigeria, respectively.
This certification is the latest edition of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)’s flagship quality management systems standard, which places more emphasis on leadership, accountability, effectiveness and also organizational risk based thinking, and it comes as an upgrade from the previous ISO 9001:2008 certification which RusselSmith has maintained over several years.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) focuses on quality management systems and performance, and it helps organizations to develop better process integration, standardize service delivery and improve customer satisfaction. There is a focus on implementation of a culture of continuous improvement.
